For the new underground water connection in Schiedam, Waco produced the precast manhole and precast sewer drain outlet.
New underground water connection
The existing underground water connection on the Stadhouderslaan in Schiedam will be replaced. The current connection water connection is located at the eastern end of the Stadhouderslaan, just before the Westerhaven Bridge. This connection does not have sufficient capacity to guarantee water management in Juliana Park. This new connection will guarantee better water management in the future.
Precast manhole and sewer drain outlet
The municipality of Schiedam and the Delfland Water Board will construct the new underground water connection. The new connection will have a different route than at present. The quayside construction will also be replaced. In order to construct the new connection with the least possible inconvenience to the surrounding area, contractor Gebr. Schouls will drill the pipeline under the Stadhouderslaan. Waco had produced the precast manhole and the precast sewer drain outlet.
